There are 24 hrs in a day, some say that’s not enough. There are 7 days in a week, 365 days in a year…again it never seems like enough. If we are lucky we get that first 24 hrs, we go to bed and we wake up with a whole other 24 hours to live.
If you find yourself not appreciating the way you spent yesterday, you have today to reboot. When last year seemed to drag on and you aren’t sure what you have to show for it, find yourself disappointed in the outcome, well luckily there is another one starting soon.
No regrets, take the bull by the horns and do what works for you. Ask the questions, take that first step, make an appointment, go to the gym. You can start today.
Sometime last year I decided to really start working on myself, one step at a time. First, last fall I went to the dentist for the first time in like 5 years. Well yesterday I went for my 3rd consecutive cleaning and my teeth are in great shape, I fixed the previous 5 years of damage and now get praised for the way I am taking care of them.
Earlier this spring, I started going to the gym regularly and blogging. This has been a great change for me. Making time for me, taking the time to do things that are purely selfish. I took a bit of a break from the gym, but have gone at least 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks. And sometime last week I hit 70 posts on my blog. At nearly 2000 views for 2015.
My job has changed in crazy ways this year. With every change I ask questions, I ask so many questions. This is so I can understand how things work, affect me, my team and my family. Sometimes the questions really end up benefiting me. You don’t know what the answer is, if you are too afraid to ask.
Find love, find happiness, find motivation! Make yourself smile, then work on making other people smile. No one can tell you what is best for you. Your heart, soul and mind are saying things that only you can hear. 2015 is nearly over, but there are still 17 hours left today, 5 days left this week and 7 weeks left this year. It’s never too late to start living the life you want.
I was trying to figure out what changes at work you were talking about and then it hit me…”evolution”. Good grief that was an awful six months!
