Manic Monday Check-In: 5/23

BEST WEEK EVER!!!

I had the best week ever with Making Time For Me.  For many, many reasons!!  

First, the statistics.  We all know how much I love the statistics.  The most views, visitors, comments and likes EVER in a week on my blog.

1,077 views for the week.  When I saw yesterday that I had gone over 1,000 views (for the first time ever) I was just well, amazed and honored!  Prior to this week the highest views I had ever had in a day was 229.  Well I surpassed that both Saturday (253) and Sunday (238).

There were  416 visitors to my page last week.  So many people that decided spending time checking out my blog was important. Those visitors came from 34 different countries!!!

This past week saw 521 likes with 218 comments on different posts.  This is by far my most ever!!  In fact, I received this notification yesterday.

This is from yesterday!!  Most likes in one day.  I got the notification when I had 116 likes, I ended the day with 125 likes.

My most successful post (as far as readers) and most certainly as far as any other type of engagement is a post I wrote on a whim Saturday morning called Introduce Yourself.

With that success, I think that I am going to have to do it regularly.  Just getting to know my friends by name and location.   It seems so simple, but it means so much.  I wrote down nearly 60 names, ages and locations throughout the weekend for bloggers that I follow. My hope is that I will continue to learn names and be able to address you properly in our conversation.

Lastly, as of yesterday Making Time For Me has 450 followers!!  Thank you, everyone, so much!

I was sick and in bed most of my weekend.  Most of that time, I had my laptop on my lap finding new blogs to follow, reaching out, sharing posts!!  If you have to be sick, blogging isn’t a bad way to spend your time 🙂
