Hi! I’m Manuli and my blog is at The Midnight Illusions. I’m 19 years and I’m a medical student. Well, my teenage life is reaching it’s end, but for what’s worth, it has been the best of all times. I’ve only lived 19 years on this earth so that’s obvious. Anyhow, I’m not the party-type, though I enjoy casual hangouts and going crazy with friends. No relationships and still doing fine on my own, happily, with my family. Never actually bothered about relationships, because I always gave priority to my education and future career.
Well, that’s about me. The first thing that comes to my mind when talking about being a teenager in 2016, is social media. I engage in social media and use internet everyday and I really can’t imagine a life without that. But, I’m not addicted, actually at times I despise the way how friendships and relationships are only based on chatting or snapping. It actually makes them materialistic and we keep ‘chatting’ always, not even bothering to talk in real. We share our pasts and stories, but at the end we have opened up to people who we haven’t even talked in real. It happens sometimes, yet social media is now a necessity.
Teenage life is a series of years, where we learn a tremendous amount and change our views, going through many situations with studies, friends, family etc. Life is much much easier in 2016, yet being a teenager in this generation is not so easy. People look down upon us, blaming the whole generation for just few views that they don’t agree with. Being a teenager, I too, have several views that don’t go along with everything. Yet, we choose to live on our own respected manner.
I’ve gained and lost things, and also learned through my mistakes in my teen life. It has been smooth and rough.
