Thankful Thursday: Week 2 of 2017

I am using Thursday’s on here reflect on the things I am thankful for!  Sometimes in all the craziness we forget that there is SO MUCH good.  Every week I will make a list of the things that I am thankful for.  Maybe there will be similarities every single week, but I’m hoping that there will be surprising items that make the list as well.

When I looked around this week, purposefully capturing the things that I am thankful for I was able to find so many things. Here are the highlights.

The gym!  I am thankful that I have a gym so close by, that is inexpensive and has equipment for me to use. I miss the gym.

I have been working out in my basement this week because my husband is out of town. I am thankful that I have video games that allow me to do a make shift workout at my home.

Learning new things. I read online this week that I am only supposed to be using one space after a period. What???? This is brand new information. I was taught to use two spaces in typing class, I have been doing it like this for 25 years. I am working on it though, be patient.

An expected surprise from a good friend.

My team at work. Working together well in 2017 and as of yesterday is fully staffed.

Work Meetings. I know a weird thing to be grateful for right? I like hearing what is going on and feeling like I have a voice in what is happening.

Last, but not least, my husband comes home tonight. He has been out of town since first thing Monday morning.
