I had a conversation with Paul this weekend, that lead to me to some deep self-reflection.
Back in July I was at church camp with our youngest son. I had packed a couple of my Norwex products to use while “roughing” it in the cabin with my 5 year old for 3 days. One night as I was falling asleep I thought, “I believe in these products.” I reached out to my friend who had got me hooked and told her that I thought I might be interested in signing up as a consultant.
Honestly, at the time…it was to receive the discount. I had been buying products here and there ever since we moved into our new home. Trying to replace chemical laden cleaners with these cloths that I could use with only water!
To me it was a no-brainer, I mean obviously you don’t want to bring chemicals all around your children, your pets and yourself. Though, we end up with tens of thousands of them in our household in the blink of an eye.
Sometime in the spring, after we moved but before I started into the Norwex business, I had bought 2 bottles of Essential Oil from one of my good friends. I wanted to try them in my home. 1 of the oils I wanted to use to support a year long lice issue that we had. The other I wanted to use to maintain a smell of clean in my home. I loved using my cloths with just water, but you still want “the smell of clean” and this oil would do the trick.
In September, I had ran out of my oils, needed some new bottles AND wanted to get a diffuser. We were approaching the holiday months and I knew that meant, lots of 3 wick candles in my future. Unless, I got a diffuser and could make wonderful smells in my house without candles. That is when I got the starter kit. Again, I bought the kit for me. 11 oils and a diffuser for me to have in my house and use for my family.
With both…I had people reach out to me! Message me on Facebook asking questions, booking parties and buying kits. Which is amazing! I mean, creating safe havens is what it is all about for me. I am listening to the need and I’m trying to help.
Here’s the thing….I didn’t start either of these things try to “sell the product”. I am not pushing them on anyone and I’m not telling them that the products will do anything that they won’t do. I am just reaching out to those who have the same mentality that I do. Those that are looking to rid their homes of chemicals. Looking to create safe havens and just don’t know where to start. In my household, these two products go hand in hand.
I believe in these products! The key word is I. That is all that matters to me, my belief, my trust and my loyalty to the products is all I need to keep moving forward. There are a lot of people who love and want these products in their home and I will focus on them!
