Cultivate

I picked a word for the year!  My first time doing this, but I needed some inspiration and I’m super excited.

I did a lot of praying about what my word should be.  What did I want to accomplish this year?  What was going to be my purpose and what would I focus on?

What does it mean to Cultivate?  Well the definition that I found that I felt best applied to what I was setting out to do in 2018 is this:  “apply oneself to improving or developing (one’s mind or manners).” -Taken from GOOGLE
synonyms: improvebetterrefineelevateMore

I want to improve and better all the things.  Starting with my ownself of course.  Working from the inside out.  I want to be the best me that I can be and spread that through God, my husband, my kids, my family/friends and my businesses.  I can do it!!

The plan would be to bring this word back here every week and talk about what/how I cultivated in the last week.  I’m really looking forward to seeing how 2018 shapes out!

What about you…do you have a word for 2018?  Tell me what it is so that I can pray on it for you!

  1. What a GREAT word! I love the word ‘cultivate’ and all it implies. I’m looking forward to reading more as the year progresses!
I couldn’t settle on one word this year, so I went with three – authentic – action – joyful.
    Have a great new year!
