OOLA #Thisis38

I get these images with inspiration into my Facebook feed every day.  They are amazing, always inspiring and often exactly what I need to hear.

In 2018 I was introduced to Living OOLA.  OOLA which is short for “ooh-la-la” and is a lifestyle based on finding balance in an unbalanced life.  I read the book and it inspired me to take one of the biggest leaps of faith that I ever have, quitting my dependable 9-5 job.

This week I am home with my 6 children.  Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow we made zero plans.  Intentionally, so that I could just be here and enjoy some calm.  Not to be involved in everything that my children are doing, but so that they know I am here if they need me.  Allowing them to spend time together and enjoy each other’s company.

Meanwhile I have time to read, clean and organize.  Making homemade meals for my family, meals that the kids have requested.  Purging the different spaces in our home, because simplifying my life is part of my 2019 theme of living intentionally.

Slowing down enough to appreciate my home, my job that allows me to take some time off whenever needed and most importantly Paul who is busting his A$$ at work this week to make it all possible.
