5,471 Views for the Year: This disappoints me, but is nobody’s fault but mine. I wasn’t intentional at all this year about making sure that I post, let alone that I was giving the love to other bloggers and reading their posts. My goal for 2019 is to surpass my views from 2016 (my highest) of 31,331. Let’s see if it can happen!
127 Posts Published: This is up from last year of 100, so that is good. However, back in 2016 I posted 859 times, perhaps a bit too much. I would like to see 2019 falling somewhere in between at maybe 400 or 500.
3,761 Visitors: Honestly I am happy with whatever number of visitors. It is truly an honor that anyone finds my blog worthy of reading!
My Most read post of the year was: Ten Minutes: Yesterday… which is quite possibly the hardest post I have ever written. March 26, 2018, it was my most views ever on Making Time For Me at 277.
As of right now I am at 1,154 followers. I remember when I was really excited to hit 100. Again, it just makes me so happy that people find my blog worthy of reading.
89 different countries where someone read my blog: This is the stat that always gets me so excited. The reach of the written word and the internet, how very exciting it is.
In 2018 my Theme for Life was Cultivate. Working toward putting the effort into the right things in my life. Not being so worried about the little things and the stuff that no one else ever even notices. Focusing my attention on my family, my health and relationships. 2018 found me quitting my full-time desk job to be with my children more. Finding a career that I am in charge of and turns out I am pretty darn good at. 2018 has been pretty good to me, to us, and I am so thankful for all the steps forward.
For 2019 my Theme for my Life is Living Intentionally and that will go for my blog as well. I will not post just to see how much traffic I can get, but I will aim to be more consistent in my posting. More importantly though, regularly go into my reader and read what all of you are posting. After all, that is what it is all about. Spreading the love, putting out what you want to receive. In life, it will be less yelling, accumulating less “things”, giving my time where it is needed. It will mean more hugs, more talks and more acknowledgment when I see people and the work that they are putting in! I can’t wait to see what 2019 looks like.
I hope that New Years Eve and the New Year treat all of you well. May you be blessed beyond measure! Happy New Years!
