Steady: Supported or Balanced

Man…this should be someone’s word for the year.  Maybe, I will hold onto it and use it for 2020.

Foundationally (this should be a word) speaking, I supposed that it isn’t much different from from Purposeful Living.  After all, that is based on balance.

The idea behind today’s lesson is to take this support throughout your day.  The practice had us doing side planks, twice on both sides.  Although, the first time I may have appeared “steady” when we were using one of our legs as a kickstand, I guarantee during the second go around I was a little more shaky.  Stacking the legs and bring the opposite hand up to the sky!

But man, does your core really come alive if you are connected.  It does not go unnoticed how this mirrors life.  When we are steady and have a balanced foundation, that is when we truly feel alive right?  That is when we can allow ourselves to be happy, to live in the moment and to not constantly question the world around us.

Today, off the mat I will strive to remain steady!!
