Mat Choices

“Be kind to yourself and then bring that kindness to others.” #yogawithadriene

I don’t remember the last time I made it to the yoga mat.  I am not sure if I have written about it in a previous post at all.  But, I have had a hard time getting back on the health train since we got back from our vacation.  Mind you that was nearly 2 months ago now.  I am having a hard time sticking to Keto for more than a few hours and my morning yoga practice has gone by the wayside.

Well this morning, I made my bulletproof coffee.  Which, I love so I don’t know why I don’t make it for myself more often.  However, the last couple times I drank it, I still ended up eating breakfast.  Which is NOT the point!

This morning I had already blogged, done my gratitude journal and my bible study.  I looked up at the clock it was 6:30, my husband had already left for work and my youngest doesn’t normally wake up until 7 or after.  I had time to do yoga, the only thing that was stopping me, would be me.  So, I went to my Yoga with Adriene Calendar and took at look at some of the suggestions for April.  The one for today was 39 minutes long, I didn’t go with that as I didn’t feel that I would be able to complete it.  On Saturday though the recommended practice was Sunrise Yoga and only 15 minutes long.  I pulled it up on YouTube and got to the mat.

At the end of the session Adriene said “Be kind to yourself and then bring that kindness to others.”  Just what I needed to hear and it plays nicely with my #a2zchallenge topic of positive affirmations.

Happy Monday friends ❤
