Gratitude

When the world is dark and heavy, taking a minute to be grateful can make a world of difference. Thinking about all the small things you DO have can change your outlook. Before I got out of bed this morning I took inventory. The coffee I have to make a fresh pot and the foodContinue reading “Gratitude”

Learning to say “NO”

The hardest part about this pandemic is how hard it is for me to say NO. I have learned over the last decade or so, that it is important for me to have boundaries and to be OK setting them. Just because I know that it is something I should do, doesn’t make it anyContinue reading “Learning to say “NO””

Who knows what the “right” answer is?

I am a rule follower! It is important to me to do what I want, but within guidelines set out for me. You tell me to stay home, then I will stay home. I do not know what the right choice is. I have been making what I believe are the best decisions for my children and my family,Continue reading “Distance”

Yesterday Pt 2

A couple of years ago I wrote this post… Yesterday Well this is the same story, only it happened again.  My husband says that it isn’t the same.  Tell that to my heart because it sure feels the same. 8 weeks ago we picked up a foster pup from a shelter.  We didn’t know anythingContinue reading “Yesterday Pt 2”
